Our friend Keith Myers wrote about Russell Wilson’s performance so far in OTAs for 12th Man Rising. Apparently, not a single pass hit the ground when Wilson was practicing with his receivers in Seahawks camp. This is according to several eyewitnesses. If Wilson is already firing the ball on time and in exactly the right places, look out. I’ve written about how Wilson is ready to tear up the league next season back in February, and it appears my prediction is already coming true.
The Seahawks roster has only begun to be constructed for 2016, but the Seahawks’ official site has an updated list of where it stands today.
The Seahawks are preparing for another season in which they will contend for another NFL championship, if everything goes reasonably well. However, the Arizona Cardinals are being projected to win the NFC West this year again. How can the Seahawks overtake the Cardinals in 2016? Players retiring early has started to come in vogue in the NFL, and who can blame players for retiring before their 30th birthday? With scientists and doctors continuing to call out the NFL for trying to influence their findings on concussions and CTE, I don’t care if you’re Calvin Johnson or Marshawn Lynch, I certainly can’t fault anyone for taking the money and going home.

As strong as the Cardinals seem to be in the NFC West, the Seahawks are returning most of their core players from their Divisional Round run last season. With some improvements to the offensive line and a multi-headed monster at running back, we should be in for some compelling Arizona-Seattle matchups in the season ahead.
