The biggest storylines in the lead-up to the game centered around Marshawn Lynch and the weather. We know Lynch won’t be playing, but it remains to be seen what impact the frigid conditions will have on the outcome.
The weather forecast in Minneapolis calls for a game-time temperature between 0-2 degrees and sunny. What really makes it brutal, is the expected wind chill of -10 to -20 degrees.
Heading into the match-up, most experts are picking the Seahawks to win. However, there is no denying the Vikings are more used to dealing with colder weather conditions.
Minnesota will also make more of a effort to get the ball into Adrian Peterson‘s hands, after he was held to just eight carries and 18 yards the last time they met. His match-up with Seattle’s number one-rated run defense will be one of the key factors in the game.
Ultimately, the Seahawks should prevail again. However, don’t expect a repeat of the 38-7 scoreline from week 13.
