Depth, and depth and depth

Stars are helpful in the NFL. You need key players are certain positions, because when Colin Kaepernick tries to throw it over the top to Michael Crabtree and win the NFC Championship game, it helps to have a great athlete like Richard Sherman.

Every team has a few stars, but those individuals do not facilitate a victory. What you really need in the NFL is depth.

Depth is something that the Seahawks have, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. Yes, there have been some injuries and certainly there are always going to be questions about the offensive line.

However, if anything, the Seahawks have too much talent at certain positions. How are they going to share the ball between Marshawn Lynch and Christine Michael? Will Russell Wilson be able to spread the passes around with a healthy Percy Harvin in the lineup? Good problems to have.

Not only is this team deep, but they are still relatively young. A nice combination to go with a Super Bowl ring.
