The power of the 12s

At some point the crowd at CenturyLink Field has to quiet down, right? Wrong.

If anything, the Clink faithful are going bring the noise with even more vigor in 2014 with that Super Bowl banner hanging from the rafters. An 8-0 record at home is not guaranteed, and will be difficult with the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals coming to town.

That said, the ‘Hawks will continue to have a key homefield advantage, which could be a major factor during the regular season and a tipping point in the playoffs. There is reason to be confident that the road to the Super Bowl will still go through Seattle.

This is not a road that most teams want to take. Too much noise, and a whole lot of intimidation.
