The hunger remains

Every team wants to run, right? I suppose, but not necessarily. Some teams are more intense about chasing a ring. It helps when you already have one.

Despite winning their first Super Bowl, the Seahawks seem to have retained that hunger. This could be a golden era for this franchise, and players are going to take advantage of the opportunities.

The Seahawks could be sitting back and polishing their Lombardi Trophy, but instead the starters are playing deep into exhibition games and dropping some serious points on the competition. Sure, it is preseason, but this team seems ready to go.

Granted, there will be plenty of teams out there that are motivated, particularly to topple the Seahawks from their current pedestal. Still, that task will not be easy.

Seattle has a tough road ahead, and winning back-to-back Super Bowls is a monumental task in the NFL. Can the Seahawks win again? They can.

Will they? It will sure be fun watching them try.
