Russell Wilson’s Consistent Inconsistency

It’s very obvious that the Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson isn’t carrying his team like he did last year, but this season he has really not lived up to the hype he left us with last season. Now, I’m not saying he’s bad at all, he is undoubtedly a top 10 quarterback.

The Seattle Seahawks have five losses on the season and in each of those losses Russell Wilson has had an opportunity to bring his team back in the fourth quarter for a game-winning drive and has failed to do so. Wilson has led this team back twice this season to win in the fourth quarter, game four against the Arizona Cardinals and last night against Green Bay.

Last night Russell Wilson overthrew WR Doug Baldwin twice while Baldwin was open in the end zone and you could see the frustration on the receiver’s face.

Russell Wilson is the best quarterback in Seahawks history. Are 12s going to let a few mishaps skew their view of the quarterback? Well, a few fans have gone to social media to address their opinions and frustrations saying “He’s just a game manager” or “He isn’t worth his next paycheck”.

Well, let me comfort every fan who doesn’t believe in RW3. Wilson carried the entire team on his shoulders last season and led them to a 9-7 season (a few of those games were lost by missed field goals), and if he had to do it again, he would. Wilson isn’t forced to do the same things he had to do last season to win. He doesn’t throw the ball as often, so when he makes missed throw it is a lot more apparent and “annoying”.

Seattle Seahawks Nation needs to take a page out of Aaron Rodgers book and R-E-L-A-X. B3lieve in RW3.
