Rushing Attack Still Looks Great

As I stated before, RB Chris Carson fumbled on his first rushing attempt, but after that, he ran 17 times for 83 yards. Carson showed his mental toughness by wiping his mistake away and starting fresh, after that he punished the Green Bay defense. The Seattle Seahawks are the number one rushing team in the league with 152 yards/game. Thursday they finished the game with 173 yards.

Carson rushed for 4.9 yards/carry which is the lowest among the three backs, Rashaad Penny had 5.8/carry, and Mike Davis finished with 6.5/carry.

The Hawks running backs are absolute animals and each and every one of them could be pushed into the starting role at any time and thrive. This is the first year 12s feel confident in the running attack since Marshawn Lynch left.

Playoff Hopes Still Alive

Seattle just fought their way back to .500 and many say there isn’t a good chance to make the playoffs, but there is a good chance actually. They play an evenly matched game against the Carolina Panthers next week. Additionally, there are two games against San Fransisco and one against Arizona. If Seattle can take those four games, they will find themselves at 9-5, and if they take at least one of the games between Minnesota or Kansas City they will be at 10-6.

10 wins should get them into a wildcard spot as long as the NFC North race favors the Seahawks with tie-breakers. Seattle already lost to the Bears, but have beaten the Lions and Packers and have a game against the Vikings in a few weeks.

The Seahawks have a good chance to make the playoffs in a season where that wasn’t the expectation at all. It is exciting that they are still in this thing and can make a good run at it with the way we are attacking the opposition on offense.

The Seattle Seahawks played a very telling game last night. They went head to head with a top quarterback and came out on top. Seattle made mistakes, but they didn’t let them bring the team down. The Seahawks have come a long way this season and I would love to see them in the playoffs and prove the haters wrong.
