This is week five of our football predictions. Find out who we like in the UW, WSU, Seahawks, and NFL Sunday Night Football games.

This season Emerald City Swagger will run an internal contest predicting the games our readers are interested in. We will always have our takes on the Washington State Cougars, Washington Huskies, and Seattle Seahawks games for the upcoming weekend. Additionally, we will add the Sunday Night NFL Game of the Week unless the Hawks are in it, then we’ll do Monday night.

Picking the games each week will be site expert Ed Stein, contributor Matt Barry, a rotating member of the Emerald City Swagger staff, and special guest. You get each person’s outright winner of the game, consider anything else as a bonus.

Joining Ed and Matt for the weekend of October 6-7, our rotating Emerald City Swagger staff member, Herb Nightingale. We have two guests this week. The first is a youtube sensation among sports fans, Schlasser. If you haven’t watched “This Week in Sportsball” or his “Hater’s guides,” you are missing out (not PG-13),

Our bonus guest spot this week is Sarah Maninger from FanSided’s Call to the Pen.

After week five, the standings are as follows: Ed Stein 11-5, ECS Staff 11-5, Guests 10-6, Matt Barry 14-2.
