More from Emerald City Swagger

Our first day of re-activation is a huge one. The sixth-ranked Washington Huskies travel to “Hotlanta” to take on ninth-ranked Auburn in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Classic. Our Auburn scouting report is scheduled for first thing in the morning. We will give you a preview of a very strong Tigers team at 10 a.m. A little earlier in the day, Washington State plays Wyoming in Laramie. Our Matt Barry has a Cougars season preview that will be posted about the same time.

Later today, Jaymin Bernhardt has the first in an eight-part series previewing the 2018 Seattle Seahawks by position. A revamped offensive line is the subject. Tomorrow Randy Sgaraglio has the receivers and tight ends. Jaymin is back on Tuesday with the running backs. The series runs through next Saturday, so check in with us daily.

We haven’t forgotten about hoops. Huskies, Cougars, and Gonzaga Bulldogs basketball fans can turn to us for the same great coverage. In addition, we plan a Supersonics Flashback feature for those of you who are missing local NBA action.

One of the things we want to be is interactive. We will ask you for your input as well as answer your questions on a variety of subjects. Please consider yourselves our “12th Man.”

We look forward to serving Washington/Pacific Northwest sports fans for many years. Feel free to reach out on both Facebook and Twitter.
