5) Injuries, injuries, injuries

Positive:

The Colorado game highlighted Seattle’s injury issues, with designated players Clint Dempsey and Nelson Valdez missing, and Andreas Ivanschitz coming off early in the second half with a thigh strain. Brad Evans has missed playing time, Erik Friberg has only just returned, while Roman Torres and Michael Farfan are yet to feature in 2016.

Negative:

The best way to put this into perspective, is the fact every team has to contend with injuries at various points during the season. The reality is Torres is the only player expected to be out for the foreseeable future, so things aren’t exactly looking disastrous on the casualty front.
