Seattle Mariners:

2. Robinson Cano 2B

3. Nelson Cruz RF

4. Kyle Seager 3B

5. Mark Trumbo DH

6. Logan Morrison 1B

7. Willie Bloomquist 1B

8. Brad Miller SS

9. Mike Zunino C

Notes: The past five games have been good Mariners (eight runs), bad Mariners (zero runs), good Mariners (five runs) and then bad Mariners yesterday (2 runs). So today should be back to good. The players in this lineup are 16-49 (.327)  career against Bumgarner.

San Francisco Giants:

More from Emerald City Swagger

1. Norichika Aoki LF

2. Joe Panik 2B

3. Angel Pagan CF

4. Buster Posey C

5. Brandon Belt 1B

6. Brandon Crawford SS

7. Matt Duffy 3B

8. Casey Mcgehee DH

9. Justin Maxwell RF

Notes: As the Seattle Mariners continue to platoon away, the Giants will stick with their lineup, and heck, why would they change it?

3 Things to Watch For:

1. Free Willie

Bloomquist is 6-16 career against Bumgarner with a double and a home run. He always seems to perform well in games where he is entered into the lineup for matchup reasons. Two hits and an RBI today for Willie.

2. If you think that was bad…..

Felix Hernandez is coming off the worst performance of his career. He is coming off a performance that I never thought I’d see from him. The Giants will get his best tonight.

3. Mark Trumbo hits home runs, I swear: Part 2

It’s time Mark. He has too much potential power for it to not be turning into real power. He is still without an extra-base hit as a Mariner, although he did have an RBI single off the right field wall. Today, he breaks through and puts one over.

Monday’s Predictions:

1. Taijuan Walker, the Best Pitcher on the Staff??–Hit

Walker went 7.0 innings while only giving up one run for his fourth straight quality start, and he did it against the defending champs. Walker’s 2015 continues to get better and better after a terrible start.

2. LoMo Gets Wet–Hit

He didn’t have a home run, but he did do everything else. Three hits, two runs scored and an RBI gets you a big ol’ hit here at JMN.

3. Nelson, Where Are You?–Out

He had an RBI, but an 0-5 effort isn’t what we’re looking for.

Hits: 34    Outs: 56   Batting Average: .377
