7. Didi Gregorius SS
8. Stephen Drew 2B

Notes: Only one right-handed hitter in the lineup for New York. Joke’s on you Girardi, righties are hitting better off of Walker this season (OPS of .862 for right-handed batters, while only .776 for left-handed).

1. Logan Morrison 1B
2. Austin Jackson CF
3. Robinson Cano 2B
4. Nelson Cruz DH
5. Kyle Seager 3B
6. Seth Smith RF
7. Brad Miller SS
8. Dustin Ackley LF
9. Mike Zunino C
Notes: Monday wasn’t a fluke, LoMo is the new lead-off man against right-handed pitchers. I like it. The first five in the order is alternating between left and right, and 5-8 is all left for Tanaka. I also like that Lloyd is changing some things up. I think a few more changes should be in order (Rodney and Weeks), but this is a good start.
3 Things to Watch

1. Your love is all I need
Smith was on a nine-game hitting streak before last night’s pinch-hit strikeout. He also came up big with an RBI double when in the six-hole in this wacky lineup on Monday. He will have another big game today. (P.S. If you didn’t figure it out, the title is in reference to his walk-up song.)
2. LoMo loves lead-off
Morrison is quietly on a 10-game hitting streak. However, he hasn’t had an extra-base hit since May 24, and hasn’t hit one out since May 12. Today, he goes 3-5 with a double.
3. At least three references to Lloyd’s tirade
That. Was. Epic. I was fortunate enough to be at the game last night, and that was one for the ages. The best part was definitely the way he seeked out each of the three umpires responsible for the check-swing calls and gave it to all of them.
Last Game’s Predictions
1. Be like Mike–Hit
Was Mike Montgomery good or what? He gave up just one run and base-runners in the first 6.0 innings of his major league career. If the third-base ump would have been paying attention to the game, he would have given up just four base-runners in 6.0 shutout innings. This is already the best trade Jack Z has ever made, not that that’s saying much.

2. Be like Mike (Z)–Out
I almost wanted to give him this one, but couldn’t. I love the passion though in defense of his pitcher though, especially from a usually cool, calm and collected source.
3. Free Willie–Out
He went 0-4, with three of his at-bats coming against C.C. Sabathia, who he usually hits hard. Not a great game for Willie…
Season Tally:
Outs: 40 Hits: 21 Batting Average: .344
