Marshawn Lynch: The Movie
Anything with Marshawn Lynch‘s name attached to it generates a ton of buzz. This has been true for years, ever since the Beast Mode run cemented his place as a local legend and household name. Media has clamored for his attention, while fans have hung on his every word. Dude has a lot of sway.

Ever since his run of Super Bowl week media appearances we’ve gotten a little more used to seeing Lynch in the spotlight, as opposed to actively hiding from it. There’s still plenty of curiosity following the guy, of course. But is there enough buzz around him to justify a feature film? We might be on the verge of finding out.
Recently, somebody named Mario Bobino uploaded a video to his YouTube channel. It’s called a promo for a film called “Family First,” which is purportedly “The Marshawn Lynch story.” It’s four minutes and fifteen seconds long. See how long you last before skipping ahead or just turning it off altogether!
The video’s description cautions us that this is not a trailer. It was produced in June of last year, and was made merely to spark interest in this (potential) film. Although the promo is pretty unwatchable, it’s been viewed 57,000 times as of this writing. That’s interest, alright.
This clip has been panned everywhere, including here, by me, right now. But a movie doesn’t have to be good for us to find it interesting, and this certainly has the interest factor going for it, if nothing else. You’ve heard the majority opinion – now let’s hear yours!
