Super Bowl 49: Madden NFL 15 Predicts the Winner (Video)
By Paul Novak
The folks at EA Sports, the video game company that creates the popular Madden NFL games have released their prediction on who will come out victorious in Super Bowl 49 this Sunday.
Unfortunately for us Seattle Seahawks fans, Madden doesn’t see Russell Wilson winning two Super Bowl’s in his first three years in the NFL.
The simulation has New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady leading the Patriots to their fourth Lombardi Trophy in their sixth total appearance. Brady will hold the record for most Super Bowl appearances by a quarterback with six. Regardless of the outcome, Brady has established himself as one of the greatest postseason quarterbacks of all-time.
A loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday would put his all-time Super Bowl record at 3-3. The two losses have come at the hands of the New York Giants.
It’s important to note that Madden could not simulate the results with deflated footballs, however.
But hold on just one second!
Madden may be predicting the Patriots to win, but the Seahawks have their own believers as well.
Teddy Bear The Porcupine has predicted the past three Super Bowl champions correctly, choosing the Giants in 2012, Ravens in 2013, and the Seahawks last year.
Teddy recently made his choice on who would win this Sunday and for the second year in a row, the Seahawks will be victorious on football’s grandest stage.
