Super Bowl XLIX: Five Keys To Victory
1) Play Seahawk Football
Doug Baldwin said it best. “We did what we do. We played Seahawk football. And now, we’ll see y’all at the Super Bowl.”
Seattle needs to find their balance on offense that starts with Marshawn Lynch and ends with Russell Wilson.
They need Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett and Bruce Irvin to make Brady uncomfortable, and the L.O.B. to wipe Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman right off the Patriots game plan.
They need to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball (with the exception of pass-protection, I think we have to concede that one just about every game).
They need to stay focused and play 60 complete minutes of football in all three phases a-la Super Bowl XLVIII. They need to play with enthusiasm that inspires each other. And most of all, they need to remember what got them here in a season where it didn’t look like this was possible.
