Defensive Line

Former first-rounder Corey Liuget is the most talented of San Diego’s lineman. At 300 pounds, he is skilled at taking on blockers in the run game, as well as being able to get to the passer with 12.5 sacks the last two years. Lissemore is a bit undersized for a nose tackle, maybe the most important position in the 3-4 scheme.

Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril have played at or near Pro Bowl level ever since they arrived in Seattle and that’s not going to change. Brandon Mebane seems to finally be getting some recognition around the league as an elite player and should be able to take advantage of Hardwick being out.
