They can convert on third downs! Who knew?! Through the first nine weeks of the season, the Seahawks struggled to convert third downs only doing so on 42 of 113 attempts for a paltry 37% average. Against the Atlanta Falcons, the Seahawks converted 9 of 15 third down attempts for a 60% success rate. Granted it was against the 26th ranked defense in the league this season but they had to start somewhere and it’s an improvement.
