Coaching:
Do you blame Pete Carroll for the ineffectiveness of the offense in the first half? That is tough call, particularly when the Seahawks were short offensive linemen and facing a very good defense led by J.J. Watt. Still, coaching is about adjustments and the Seahawks really didn’t start looking like a great team until partway through the fourth quarter.
Credit Carroll for his never-say-die attitude, particularly in the fourth quarter when Seattle was able to claw its way back into the game.
A key decision came in the fourth quarter when Carroll decided to throw the challenge flag on Wilson’s pass to Doug Baldwin that was initially ruled an incomplete pass. The call was overturned and Seattle eventually went the length of the field for a touchdown.
It wasn’t pretty, but Seattle got it done. Still undefeated.
