Report Card: Grading the Seahawks victory over the Texans

Special Teams:
The special teams can sometimes be the unsung heroes of a football team, but their performance was particularly noteworthy today. Steven Hauschka was 3-for-3 on field goals, including his calm kick from 45 to win in overtime.
Jon Ryan averaged a very solid 46.3 yards per punt and put four of them inside the 20. Those are the types of subtle numbers that, in retrospect, make a big difference in the outcome of close games.
Overall, the return game was very good, particularly Golden Tate’s 31-yard return in overtime to set up the game-winning field goal.
Grade: A
