The Seattle Seahawks had a chance to pull a win out against the Los Angeles Rams for the second time this season but fell short. Who performed well?

This past Sunday morning the Seattle Seahawks came into Bank of America stadium needing to win at all costs. The Seahawks accomplished that task, though it wasn’t easy. Led by Cam Newton (256 yards passing and 63 yards rushing) and Christian McCaffrey (125 yards rushing, 112 yards receiving, and two touchdowns), Carolina had their way all afternoon with the lethargic Seattle defense. They piled up almost 500 yards of total offense on the day.

Fortunately for the Seahawks, the bulk of that yardage occurred between the twenties. Seattle’s defense stiffened just enough during the course of the game to allow Seattle to escape with a critical victory.

Improving their record to 6-5 and mired in a logjam for a wild-card playoff spot, the victory gives Seattle yet another head to head tiebreaker that may become crucial at the end of the season in gaining entrance into the playoffs.

Typically in a victory, identifying a dud at all is as difficult as it is to identify a single stud. This week there is, however, plenty of duds to choose from. So many in fact that singling out a single dud poses a serious challenge. As such, I will share the accolades amongst entire units.
