We are days away from the 2018 Apple Cup. This how the Washington football team matches up against each area of WSU’s team.

It’s a “do or die” situation this week for Washington football. A win puts the Huskies into the PAC-12 championship game. A loss leaves them at 8-4 and likely out of the top 25 and the Rose Bowl.

The Cougars are ranked eighth in the country. Anyone who thinks WSU is still the weak sister of the conference is fooling themselves. Additionally, this edition of Washington State is much better than any version Chris Petersen and his staff have played against thus far. This game, for lack of a better phrase, will be an uphill struggle all the way for UW.

Upcoming is a brief synopsis of how the Huskies matchup against each Washington State Unit. I added in some suggestions on how I think Washington can succeed on both offense and defense against their cross-state rivals.
