Joshua Garnett, guard, San Francisco 49ers

A Puyallup High School graduate, Garnett played his college ball at Stanford. He had a foot injury in the opening game of the season against the Minnesota Vikings. Since his return to active duty in game eight, he has played on special teams.

There were those including Bleacher Report who felt Garnett should be traded before the deadline, however that didn’t happen. If the 49ers decide to move on from the big guard, it will happen after the season. Unless there is an injury to one of the Niners starting offensive linemen, Garnett will likely play special teams the rest of the way.

David DeCastro G Pittsburgh Steelers

DeCastro is a native of Bellvue, WA. and attended Bellevue High School. The Pittsburgh Steelers have won five games in a row. The Steelers first-round pick of 2012, DeCastro has been a mainstay of Pittsburgh’s offense. Not much is said about the offensive line, despite succeeding without star running back Leveon Bell.

On November 8, against the Carolina Panthers, Pittsburgh had one of their best games of 2018, winning 52-21. Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger completed 22 passes on 25 throws for 328 yards and five touchdowns. The Steelers ran the ball 30 times for 148 yards and one touchdown. It’s fair to say that the offensive line did their job.
