L.A. Chargers at Seattle Seahawks

Shane – In what will possibly the most boring game of the season, two mediocre teams battle it out to see who is the king of the little guys. The Seattle Seahawks, after beating the very average Lions by two touchdowns, try to take it to the Chargers with their sixth-rated defense in the league, however, the pedestrian offense will have trouble.

Then, we have the Chargers with the fifth-ranked offense, who just come off of edging out the Titans by a single point. The Bolts play with doubt for the first half, then quickly realize that they’re playing the Seahawks and their meh offense, start actually playing football. Chargers win in a snooze of a game. Both teams push onward to an 8-8 season.

Matt Barry – The Chargers have a ton of talent. The Seahawks have been improving and need to continue to win to compete for a playoff spot. The game is in Seattle and that certainly favors Russell Wilson and Seattle.

But I like Philip Rivers in this one. I think the Chargers will move the ball with a balanced attack. They can score points and the Seahawks are still a work in progress offensively. I take the Chargers.

Herb Nightingale – The Los Angeles Chargers are on the road at Seattle against the Seahawks. The Chargers are having a good season with the record of 5-2 and in second place in the AFC West division behind the Kansas City Chiefs. They have won four straight games and are on a roll.

The Seahawks are 4-3, winning four out of their last five games. Their running game is in high gear. This game is more important for the Seahawks to win so they can stay on pace to make the playoffs. I pick the Seahawks to win for another reason, they can’t lose twice to L.A, teams in Seattle. They played well against the Rams but lost 33-31, so I see the Seahawks winning 39-28.

Ed Stein – The Seattle Seahawks will handle this one, the same way they handled the last few big-armed quarterbacks they faced. I fully expect Pete Carroll’s team to run the ball all over the Chargers defense and keep Philip Rivers off the field. K.J. Wright makes a big difference for the Hawks defense and helps stop L.A.’s ground game. The Seahawks win this one.
