Every week the Seattle Seahawks play, Emerald City Swagger will have a dud and stud of the game. It’s a way to honor those who have played well and also call out the players who didn’t.

Sunday the Seattle Seahawks took it to the Detroit Lions in Detroit, Michigan. The Lions struggled to get anything going and their overmatched run defense was subjected to a huge dosage of Chris Carson and the Seahawks stout offensive line.

Seattle scored three straight second-quarter touchdowns to take a lead they never relinquished. Lions quarterback Matt Stafford may have thrown for 310 yards and a pair of scores, but it wasn’t enough to overcome a stingy Seahawks scoring defense. The Seahawks won 28-14 to move their record to 4-3.
