Washington football has sent many players to the NFL over the years. Here is your monthly update on Huskies currently in the NFC.

University of Washington football has a long and glorious tradition of sending players to the NFL. Emerald City Swagger will periodically check in on the progress of Huskies alumni playing at the highest level of professional football. Every second week of the month, we will update you on UW players in the AFC. Players in the NFC will be featured during the fourth week of the month.

The Washington Huskies have eight former players in the AFC, six of them on active rosters and two on practice squads. Here are their updates.

Senio Kelemete, guard, Houston Texans: He was the fifth round draft pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2012. In 2013, he was signed to the New Orleans Saints practice squad. Over the next four years, Kelemete played 57 games for the Saints and started in 22. This March, Kelemete signed a three-year, $12M contract with the Texans and has started four out of five games. He missed game three against the New York Giants because of a knee injury, however, he has returned to play in the last two games.
