Seahawks
Shalom Luani, strong safety Seattle Seahawks. Luani was traded to the Seahawks from the Oakland Raiders on Sept 1. 2018. He was the Raiders seventh-round draft pick in 2017. The defensive back, played in all the games for the Raiders, starting one, and making 18 tackles.
Luani played in game three for the Seahawks where he had two tackles. Now with Earl Thomas out for the year, Luani could see more action, although the Seahawks may bring in a more experienced safety at some point. His ability to play both strong and free safety, plus his good play on special teams will keep him on Seattle’s roster.
