Every week the Seattle Seahawks play, Emerald City Swagger will have a dud and stud of the game. It’s a way to honor those who have played well and also call out the players who didn’t.

Sunday afternoon the Seattle Seahawks won their second game of the season. The 20-17 victory was their first road win of 2018 and came down to the last play of the game. Now with a .500 record, the Seahawks are back in the playoff hunt.

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll continued his commitment to the run Sunday. The Seahawks kept the ball on the ground 34 times. It was far from last week’s three yards and a cloud of dust performance against Dallas. Once again Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson wasn’t asked to put the team on his shoulders to win.

Arizona’s offense had more success than they probably should have had against the Seahawks’ D. As I’ve said many times, opponents will make good plays and when they do you just have to give them a tip of the hat and say “good job.” Still, the “Legion of Very Good” only gave up 263 total yards.

Here are our week four Duds and Studs.
