Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas has made it very clear he wants to be traded because he didn’t get a contract extension from the team this summer. Here are our top 10 destinations for the disgruntled all-pro.

Earl Thomas is an interesting subject for Seattle Seahawks fans. Everyone knows about him holding out of the entire offseason and all but two days of the preseason. This week we find out that Thomas skipped practiced Wednesday and Friday. As he told the media:

"“I need to make sure my body is 100,” Thomas said. “I’m invested in myself. If they was invested in me, I would be out there practicing. But if I feel like anything — I don’t give a damn if it’s small, I’ve got a headache — I’m not practicing. But I don’t want that to be taken the wrong way. I know I’m going to get fined. But that’s just where I’m at with that.”"

As it stands, Thomas is in the final season of a four year, $40M extension which would mean he’d be able to test the free agent market this spring. That said, Seahawks GM John Schneider and head coach Pete Carroll have some decisions to make.

Should they make a deal now to remove a player that really doesn’t buy into the system, or should they keep Thomas and let him walk at the end of the season with no compensation? The purpose of this article is to try and predict what teams would be the best fit for the Seattle Seahawks and Earl Thomas to make a deal.
