The Seattle Seahawks put out their final injury report ahead of tonight’s game in Chicago. Key Seahawks defensive players are either out of the game, doubtful to play, or nursing injuries.

The Seattle Seahawks released their final injury report for this week. It doesn’t look good. Some integral members of the defense are either out of the game, doubtful to play, or will play with an injury. Aside from the final score, last week’s loss in Denver will prove to be even more costly than the 12th man originally thought. Many backups will be forced into action, in a game that Seattle almost must win to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Up Front

We start with the defensive line, where there will be some turnover from last week. A reasonable fan would figure that the teams highest graded defensive lineman from last week would be a certain starter in Chicago. Not only won’t Tom Johnson start, but the Seahawks also cut him, abandoning his $2M guaranteed contract. Training camp standout Poona Ford should be active tonight and could see a decent amount of snaps on the interior defensive line.

Additionally, starting left defensive end Dion Jordan was limited throughout the early practices this week due to a knee injury. He was a full practice participant Friday and Saturday, so he is probable to play Monday night. Quinton Jefferson took the majority of snaps in practice, so he definitely gets some game action tonight.
