The Seattle Seahawks showdown in Chicago, Monday is vital to the team in more ways than one. It may be the deciding factor on whether or not they make the playoffs.

The Seattle Seahawks travel to Soldier Field in Chicago to face the Bears in this week’s edition of Monday night football. Both teams come into the contest with 0-1 records, after suffering heartbreaking losses last week. The Bears blew a 20-0 lead eight and a half minutes into the third quarter, to lose 24-23 in Green Bay.

Seattle was under the gun all day, from a relentless Denver defense. Yet they were leading in the fourth quarter 24-20. Victory turned to defeat after a controversial touchdown reception by Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas. Both teams will have some added incentive come Monday night.

For the Seahawks, this game is crucial and for several reasons. How they win will be almost as important as winning itself which you will see later on is a must.
