Whether it was due to a shaky offensive line or huge changes to the defense, several areas need to be addressed after the Seattle Seahawks 24-21 loss Sunday in Denver.

Whether your team won or lost the first game of the season most fans, media and the coaching staff will be critical of the team. This goes for the Seattle Seahawks well as every other NFL team. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if they would win or not, though I figured the Seahawks had a greater chance to lose.

The main two reasons for my thinking were: one, the Denver Broncos play well at home and two, the Seahawks have not done well in season openers under Pete Carroll. Since 2012 the Broncos have a record 33-7 at home while the Seahawks are 1-8 on season openers since Pete Carroll became the head coach.
