Pete Carroll is the perfect coach for Brandon

Pete Carroll is known for establishing positive relationships with players who are considered to have difficult personalities. Brandon Marshall has had his issues in the past with teammates and coaches, but Seattle should suit him well. Per USA Today, Carroll lauds the progress that Marshall has made over the years:

"“He has been through a lot, and he has shared his story with a lot of people,” Carroll said after Marshall’s first OTA. “It has been a meaningful journey, really, from where he was way back when to where he is today. He has come a long ways, and I think it’s all to his credit and his wife and family that have supported him. He is a tremendous young man, and he has learned from those lessons and he has shared it with the world."

It appears as though their relationship is off on the right foot. If Marshall finds success on the field, then it’s even more likely that the relationship continues to bloom. Ideally, the two will continue to establish a solid rapport by the time the season begins.
