When you stop and think about it, its sometimes tough to fathom that the Seattle Mariners have already been around for 40 years. To many fans, it feels like just yesterday the team was preparing for their inaugural season, in 1977.
Further, to a lot of people, the Mariners have achieved little up to this point, with just four postseason appearances. However, this is a shortsighted outlook, considering the players who have worn the M’s uniform over the years.
