Pick 95-Seahawks select Dalvin Tomlinson, DT Alabama

Seattle needs to add depth to its defensive line. As of now, they have just Jarran Reed and Ayhtuba Rubin.

The team can head down to Tuscaloosa for its next DT prospect. I wrote this way back in Mock Draft 1.0:

"The Seahawks could go into free agency and find a run-stuffing DT, but Tomlinson is a cheaper and potentially better option. Some scouts are worried that he greatly benefited from the talent around him, and only eclipsed 45 percent of snaps played in his final season. Those concerns could lead to a potential coup for the Seahawks, as Tomlinson could pair nicely with former teammate Jarran Reed on first and second down. He won’t wow anybody with his pass-rush skills, but the 310 pounder has a high motor and surprising quickness, which might lead to some value as a pass rusher down the road."
