Los Angeles Angels, August 10-13

This weekend will be the biggest weekend of the year. Mike Trout comes to town and will be but the footnote to what is to come in Seattle that weekend (the only  homestand in August).

Edgar Martinez will have his number retired on Saturday, the 12th. Fans also get to take home a replica number plaque.

The night before is Edgar Martinez bobblehead night. Sunday will be Edgar Martinez replica jersey day. If you are that type of fan that usually only goes to one game a year, make it this weekend.

Last season with Ken Griffey‘s number retirement was a huge hit, one of the most memorable home series in Mariners history. This should be much of the same.

Tickets may be hard to come by if you wait too long. Martinez gets a whole weekend and Safeco Field should be packed to see it.
