Pick 226: Seahawks select Robert Davis, WR Georgia State

A combine warrior from the same school that produced Albert Wilson, Robert Davis is an intriguing blend of size and athleticism. Standing at 6’3″ and 219 lbs, Davis put himself on the map after running a 4.41 40 yard dash. He backed up his performance with a fantastic vertical jump of 41 inches and a broad jump of 136 inches.

The combination of these numbers and his size, led 3sigmaathlete.com to award Davis a SPARQ score of 141.5, highest among combine participants. Mockdraftable.com compares Davis favorably to former Texans great Andre Johnson.

Carroll has always liked having a big body receiver. The team has struggled to find a replacement after early success of Sidney Rice and Mike Williams. Davis fits the mold of Chris Matthews. The Seattle Seahawks will likely be interested.
