35. Seahawks select Cam Robinson, OT Alabama

Cam Robinson is a popular mock draft selection for the Seattle Seahawks at pick 26. He is projected to slide into the early second round if he slips past Seattle, and if this is the case, they can move up in the third and add a fourth round pick and still get the guy they wanted at 26.

Robinson is a mammoth human being, standing 6′ 6″ tall and tipping the scale at 335 lbs. He has nimble feet for a man of his girth, but is not quite quick enough to protect the blindside of your franchise QB. He moves people off their spot, and would provide a power right side combo with right guard Germain Ifedi.

It is possible that Seattle gives Robinson a shot at left tackle, as it seems unlikely he wouldn’t be an upgrade at the position right now. The surprising athlete, combined with his mammoth size, means offensive line coach Tom Cable will be pushing Seahawks’ GM John Schneider to take the Alabama product.
