Three Seahawks Free Agent Targets

Seahawks general manager John Schneider and head coach Pete Carroll have given mixed signals about who they might be pursuing in free agency this offseason. Here are three potential targets that would help the team.
For the Seahawks, as with the rest of the league, tomorrow kicks off the NFL’s “Legal Tampering Period,” (LTP) in which under-the-table free agent negotiations can start ahead of the new league year and official free agency signing period on March 9th. It’s a few days NFL executives can circle names on their free agency and draft boards to resolve issues with their rosters before official negotiations begin.
Today’s the final day of the NFL Scouting Combine, when draft prospects have a chance to prove their athleticism by producing hard data suggesting whether or not they can perform at the highest level. The draft is still over a month away, with many mock drafts to come out between now and then.
Now that both Schneider and Carroll have glimpse who may be available to them on April 27th, they have to turn their attention to free agents and which established NFL players can help them for the right price. We’ve seen free agency rumors and speculated on where certain players would fit with certain teams up to this point, and we won’t know for certain who will be available or signed until Thursday, when NFL Free Agency officially starts.
