Spring Training Games to Watch

Saturday, February 25 vs. San Diego Padres, 12:10pm PST, Peoria, Listen on 710 ESPN Seattle

This game will be the first live action for the 2017 Mariners squad. They will be the road team against the Padres as they share the same facility. Get your “Vedder Cup” fix in during the three matchups during the spring because for the first time in a while, these two are not scheduled in the regular season.

Sunday, March 5 vs. Oakland Athletics, 12:10pm PST, Peoria, on ROOT Sports

This will be the first televised game of the spring, against a division rival no less. Enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon by taking in the 2017 Mariners with your eyeballs for the first time.

Friday, March 10 vs. Chicago Cubs, 12:10pm PST, Peoria, ROOT Sports

This will be your one chance to see the Mariners go toe-to-toe with the defending World Series champion Cubs (unless, you know, they face off in the Fall Classic).

Saturday, March 25 vs. Texas Rangers, 1:10pm PST, Peoria, ROOT Sports

The Mariners need to figure out the Rangers this year in order to make the playoffs. This will be your chance to scout the competition in the AL West in a weekend, televised spring tilt with Texas.

Saturday, April 1 vs. Colorado Rockies, 12:10pm PST, Scottsdale, ROOT Sports

This will be the last Spring Training game for the Mariners. The roster will be more or less set for the coming opening week. This will be the last game that doesn’t count for a long, long time.
