As the Cougars battle the Arizona Wildcats in Pullman, please endow us here at ECS and other Cougar fans with your comments and wisdom on the game.

The Cougars came into this game just breaking into the top-25 national college football rankings at 25. After their annual early-season stumbles, they have rounded into form under Mike Leach and have yet to lose a game in the Pac-12.

The Arizona Wildcats, dare I say it, are in the midst of a down year. They played Pac-12 front runners and Playoff contenders Washington tough at home, but they are presumably too beat up to defeat Washington State on the road. Then again, no one thought Eastern Washington had a chance against the Cougars, either. The Wildcats are led by explosive quarterback Brandon Dawkins, who could be a challenging matchup for the Cougars.

However, Washington State’s defense should match up well with Arizona’s receivers, at least on paper. All they have to do is keep the Wildcats in third and long and get off the field.

Mike Leach’s Air Raid offense should have no trouble dropping bombs on a depleted Arizona defense. If the Cougars can execute for Luke Falk and company, they’ll handle the Wildcats.

How have the Cougars looked, especially on offense, so far? Have they contained Dawkins? How many hilarious Mike Leach faces have you seen on the sidelines already? Let us know in the comments what you make of the Cougs’ performance so far. Tune in on Pac-12 Network to catch the game.
