Dae-Ho Lee

We’ve already discussed Lee’s situation. Regardless, it’s worth repeating that both Scott Servais and Jerry Dipoto would like to see him back in 2017.

This may seem strange, given the noticeable dip in the 34-year old’s productivity during the second half of the 2016 campaign. However, Dipoto explained there is a lack of quality right-handed platoon bats available on the open market.

From Lee’s point of view, he is wary of once again taking on a part-time role, with him admitting it began to hurt his pride after a while. Overall, he has a lot to think about, including the likelihood of significant interest from Japan.

Chance of returning: 50-50
