With free agency now officially here, which of the Seattle Mariners’ seven eligible players are most likely to be back in the Pacific Northwest next season?

With the season officially in the books, free agency is now open for business. (By the way, congratulations to the Chicago Cubs, who thoroughly deserved their long overdue championship.)

In respect of the Seattle Mariners, they have seven players set to become free agents. As per the current collective bargaining agreement, players are eligible for free agency the day after the World Series concludes.

As of Thursday, the Mariners now have a five-day window to negotiate with their relevant players, before other teams are allowed to offer them contracts. As such, let’s look at all seven cases and consider how likely each individual is to return to Seattle next year.
