3) Who wants it more?

On the surface, this probably sounds like a daft question. After all, who doesn’t want to make the playoffs, while also putting themselves in the best possible position?

However, that’s just the point – there’s a lot at stake here. If either team wins, it guarantees fourth place and a home game in the first round, with the loser relying on other results to even qualify.

You’re going to learn a lot about different players on Sunday, in respect of how they perform in a highly-pressurized situation. Will they rise to the occasion, or wilt under the intensity of expectation?

No doubt the two teams will also be wondering what’s going on in the games involving Sporting KC and the Portland Timbers. Sounders fans may or may not agree, but this is going to be a lot of fun.
