If truth be told, things were going a little bittoowell for theSeattle Sounders, after four straight wins. A fifth consecutive victory on Wednesday night would have secured a playoff spot and strengthened their case for a home game in the first round.
However, that would not have fit with the narrative of 2016. This season has not been remotely predictable, or more to the point straightforward for the Sounders.
As such, it really shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Rave Greenwere held to a 0-0 tie against Houston Dynamo. That’s right, the same team which currently sits bottom of the Western Conference.
