Seattle Sounders FC: 3 Keys Versus the Columbus Crew
By Paul Taylor
1) Kei Kamara
When Kei Kamara was originally drafted ninth overall by Columbus in 2006, big things where expected from him. However, after just two seasons and five goals, he was traded to San Jose.
After seven years away, including a spell in England, Kamara returned in 2015 to finally live up the earlier expectations. He was named team MVP after becoming just the second player in club history to reach 20 goals in a season (22), and received recognition as a member of the MLS Best XI.
The Sierra Leonean footballer has continued in a similar vein this season, and currently leads the Crew with three goals, including strikes in the last two games. The Sounders chances of getting something from this clash will start with stifling the influence of the flamboyant forward.
