Negative:

In the “what have you done for me recently?” world of professional sports, Sigi Schmid has never been under more pressure to win in Seattle. Despite an impressive resume which includes two MLS Cups, this level of success has not translated to the Sounders in his seven+ seasons with the club. (And probably not helped by the hated Portland Timbers winning it all last year.)

Positive:

You could almost….almost….argue Sounders fans have been spoiled since they entered MLS, with one Supporters Shield and four U.S Open Cups. Throw in the fact they are the only team to make the playoffs every year of their MLS existence, and at least you know they are always in with a shout with Schmid in charge.
