1) Seattle yet to win in Houston

With the game taking place at BBVA Compass Stadium, perhaps the emphasis should be on the word ‘compass’. To date, the Sounders have yet to locate a victory in their visits to Texas. (Come on! It wasn’t that bad…was it?)

In five previous trips to the space city, Seattle has lost three times, while picking up a paltry two points. They’ve managed to score five goals, but also conceded 10 at the other end.

Throw in the fact the game will kick off in the afternoon, and it’s going to be warm and humid on Saturday. If the Sounders are looking for a positive sign, consider that they did manage a 1-1 tie in Houston towards the end of last season, which eliminated the Dynamo from playoff contention.
