As the Seattle Sounders prepare to face the Houston Dynamo in Texas, we look at three factors which could decide the outcome.

Seattle Sounders fans were finally able to let out a collective sigh of relief last weekend. The 1-0 victory over the Montreal Impact gave them their first points of the season, and will hopefully represent the turning point after the worst start in franchise history.

Having Brad Evans back in the lineup helps and maybe it should come as no surprise his return coincided with the Sounders’ first clean sheet of the season. The Seattle captain says his shoulder brace is giving him no issues and the roster is back to full strength, save for Erik Friberg and Nelson Valdez, who injured himself in training during this week.

Next up are the Houston Dynamo who, after a bright start, have lost two straight games. We consider three factors which will help determine the result on Sunday.
