2) Joevin Jones and Brad Evans

The Sounders have a couple of question marks heading into the game, starting with Joevin Jones, who suffered an injury while playing for Trinidad and Tobago earlier this week. Sigi Schmid has admitted he is unclear of the left back’s status, but should have more news sometime on Friday.

The other query surrounds Brad Evans, who missed the two previous games, due to a dislocated shoulder. The captain has returned to training – complete with a shoulder brace – and while early indications point towards him playing, we wait for Schmid to confirm either way.

If Jones and Evans are unable to go, their places will be taken by Dylan Remick and Zach Scott respectively. The only other injury issue concerns Erik Friiberg, with no update yet on when he will return from his MCL sprain.
