As the Seattle Sounders prepare to host the Montreal Impact, we consider three factors which could determine the outcome at CenturyLink Field.

After starting a season with three straight losses for the first time in MLS history, is it time for the Seattle Sounders to panic yet? The answer is still no, but barely, with the Rave Green already four points adrift at the bottom of the Western Conference.

Of course, we wouldn’t be having this conversation if it weren’t for two dubious penalty awards for the Vancouver Whitecaps a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately for the Sounders, there’s nothing that can be done as things stand, so they just have to bite the bullet and get back to work.

Next up are the Montreal Impact, who are the early leaders of the Eastern Conference, albeit by virtue of goals scored. We look at three factors which will help decide if Seattle can finally earn their first point or points of the 2016 campaign.
